Senior Developer / Tech Lead (.NET & Azure)

About the mandate

For a large organisation in Brussels, you will work as an experienced Senior Developer and Tech Lead to find technical solutions for a scalable business platform on .NET and Azure. You translate questions from the business and the domain into clear technical analyses and specifications, and you set the technical standard within the team. You work AI-native: agents write, test and refactor code, and you safeguard the architecture, the security and the quality of the result. You coach other developers on content and share knowledge. Dutch, French and English are required.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the technical standard and monitor code quality
• Carry out code reviews and coach developers on content
• Translate business and domain questions into technical analyses and specifications
• Help build a scalable business platform on .NET and Azure
• Work with AI agents that write, test and refactor code
• Safeguard the architecture, security and quality of the AI output

Must-haves

• Experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructures
• Thorough knowledge of .NET and experience with application development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and a DevOps culture
• Knowledge of frontend development with Angular
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot in real projects, with a critical eye on the output
• Experience with code reviews, technical coaching and technical analysis
• Fluent Dutch, French and English
• Problem-solving, resilient under stress and proactive, with a team-oriented attitude

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Marten for event sourcing and document-oriented data in .NET
• Experience with GraphQL for API design and optimisation
• Experience with PostgreSQL, document databases and SQL
• Experience with RabbitMQ, MassTransit and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search functionality and data analysis
• AZ-204 and AZ-400 certificates
