About the mandate
As a front-end developer, you will strengthen a team that is building a platform with AI agents and agentic workflows. You will develop micro frontends that users work with to interact with those agents. These are integrated into a customer portal and into Microsoft Office add-ins. The assignment is long-term and can be carried out remotely or on a hybrid basis, with Anderlecht as the location. You will work in TypeScript and build reusable, maintainable UI components, including custom Web Components with the Lit framework. The team actively uses AI-assisted development, including GitHub Copilot. Knowledge of Lit is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain micro frontend applications for the platform
- Build reusable and maintainable UI components with modern web technologies
- Create custom Web Components with the Lit framework
- Develop functionality in TypeScript following modern engineering practices
- Connect frontend applications to APIs and AI-driven backend services
- Ensure high quality, performance, accessibility and usability
- Collaborate with the team during design, implementation, testing and deployment
- Use AI-assisted development tools to deliver faster while maintaining code quality
Must-haves
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Experience building modern web applications and component-based user interfaces
- Experience with Web Components
- Experience with Lit, or the willingness to learn quickly
- Understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components and micro frontend concepts
- Experience working with REST APIs and backend services
- Experience with Visual Studio Code
- Knowledge of version control such as Git and Azure DevOps
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with micro frontend architectures
- Experience integrating applications into enterprise portals
- Experience developing Microsoft Office add-ins
- Understanding of authentication such as OAuth and Microsoft Entra ID
- Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design
- Familiarity with cloud applications and modern enterprise platforms
